This Sunday saw the start of the new format of Pony Club with the kids divided into groups. The head instructor Dee has sorted a lesson plan and the kids are working towards Pony Club accreditation (the New Zealand version). I am sorry that I didnt get pics of everyone - Brianna having a spill off her horse which resulted in a broken arm, ceased by picture taking. Anyhow heres what I got. Regards Lou

One Day Event Sun 15th May 2011
This afternoon saw Norfolk Island Pony Club have a one day event. There has been much excitement for weeks for the junious riders and plenty of practise going on. Pony Club is indebted to Neil McKenzie-Hall who is back for the Country Music Festival, who kindly agreed to judge the events again this year.
The afternoon started with a dressage test, followed by a jumping points test and then a cross country event. Despite the icy wind; it was great to see a crowd of family & friends there to cheer the riders on.
These are some pics I took of the riders who participated in the dressage event. I think I got everyone although one shot was too blurry so sorry if that was you and I missed you.
Well done to all who rode - you were great to watch.
Thankyou to Neil, Kim & Kev for the scoring and thanks to all who brought things for afternoon tea. What a great spread
